We don’t just build, manage and sell homes, we do our best to create vibrant communities. Every penny of our profit goes into our affordable housing and community programmes. Workshops to develop skills and help people find good jobs. Personal support for older and more vulnerable residents. Buzzy neighbourhood centres with activities for all ages.
Having a safe and secure place you can call home is one of the most important things in life. For over 70 years, we've been building and maintaining quality homes in London and the South East.
We are a residential property group with a social purpose.
Our vision is to improve people's lives through high quality homes and services. Whilst we take a commercial approach to housebuilding, we reinvest all of our profits into building more new homes and supporting the communities where we work.
We have 37,248 homes across London and southern England and our property portfolio is diverse. We build award-winning affordable, private, and social rented homes, student, NHS and temporary accommodation, as well as supported housing and homes for older people.
Commercially we are one of the strongest players in our field, with 2,835 homes built since 2015, and a £300.7 million turnover last year.
We have a Fitch A+ credit rating. Once we have built our homes we stay on as landlord, maintaining a long-term relationship with our customers. We are proud of our commitment to our customers. We offer business grants to budding entrepreneurs, support to homeless people and funding for social enterprise schemes.
We see our homes as much more than bricks and mortar. They hold people’s dreams, struggles, families, precious possessions. That’s why our mission is to help make lives better one home at a time. We don’t just want you to live in one of our homes, we want you to thrive there.
Put simply, we’re a housing company with a social purpose. We’re also one of G15, the largest group of charitable housing associations in London, housing one in ten Londoners and building one in four new houses in the capital.
